3. Manuscripts, Author Materials, and Submissions

Submitting a manuscript, proposal, application, biography, headshot, or other material does not by itself

transfer copyright ownership to Illuminare House and does not create a publishing relationship. Rights,

permissions, licenses, editing authority, marketing permissions, and other publishing terms are governed

by any separate written agreement that applies to the project.

Please do not submit confidential, proprietary, or third-party material unless you are authorized to provide

it. If a submission process includes additional confidentiality, release, or intellectual-property terms, those

terms will also apply.

4. SMS and Text Messaging

Illuminare House may offer transactional and promotional text messaging. Depending on the consent you

provide, messages may include requested information, author-program updates, deadlines, event

reminders, order or fulfillment updates, customer-service communications, and marketing messages.

Consent to receive promotional or marketing text messages is not a condition of purchasing goods or

services. Message frequency may vary. Message and data rates may apply. You may opt out at any time

by replying STOP. You may reply HELP for assistance.

No mobile information will be shared with third parties or affiliates for their own marketing or promotional

purposes. Text-messaging originator opt-in data and consent may be shared only with service providers,

aggregators, carriers, and technology providers as reasonably necessary to deliver and support the

messaging program or as otherwise required by law.

5. Email Communications

We may send transactional or relationship emails connected with inquiries, orders, applications, publishing

relationships, or services. Marketing emails will include an appropriate method to unsubscribe.

Unsubscribing from marketing email does not prevent us from sending transactional or legally required

communications.

6. How We Share Information

We do not sell personal information. We may disclose information when reasonably necessary to operate

our business, provide requested products or services, evaluate publishing opportunities, produce or

distribute books, process payments, fulfill orders, communicate with you, maintain technology, or comply

with law.

platforms, payment processors, printers, distributors, fulfillment vendors, email and SMS providers,

analytics providers, cloud-storage providers, scheduling and event platforms, professional advisers, and

contractors supporting publishing or business operations. They may access information only as reasonably

necessary for the services they provide and subject to applicable contractual and legal requirements.

7. Legal and Protective Disclosures

We may disclose information when we reasonably believe disclosure is necessary to comply with law or

legal process; enforce our agreements or policies; protect the rights, property, safety, security, or integrity

of Illuminare House, authors, customers, website visitors, or others; or detect, prevent, investigate, or

respond to fraud, infringement, security issues, or unlawful activity.
